May 4, 2024, 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. - Ketchikan Salmon Walk Opening

Celebrate all things salmon at the Salmon Walk opening, May 4th starting at the Tongass Historical Museum! Meander along the 1.5 mile loop, stopping to learn more at the interpretative sites along the way. Thanks to staff from Alaska Fish & Game, SSRAA’s Deer Mountain Hatchery, UAS Ketchikan, Ketchikan Area Arts & Humanities Council, USFS Tongass National Forest, the Southeast Alaska Discovery Center, Historic Ketchikan, Ketchikan Museums and others for sharing info and activities along the walk!
