The Wounding Tooth Dinosaur

The most commonly found predatory dinosaur teeth in Alaska come from a raptor named Troodon. The name means "wounding tooth." If you look closely at the sharp serrations, you can see why. Troodon lived throughout North America during the Late Cretaceous, but it appears that the Alaskan species was much larger than its southern cousins.
