Title:
Dammit the Donkey at the Thomas Basin Rooms, 1951
    Photographer:
    Paulu T. Saari
    Description:
Brought up as a dray animal to pull carts, the burro was quickly outdated as more trucks were shipped in. In the photo, a prankster had taken Dammit up to the second floor, knowing that he was reluctant to walk down stairs. Here, Dammit is being readied for a trip down.
